Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" Trailer
So, who's excited about a return to old-school Disney? I know I am! Beauty and the Beast was the first movie I ever saw, and ever since then Disney movies such as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin have been close to my heart.
So seeing the trailer for the new "traditional" princess movie makes me dance with glee. GLEE, I TELL YOU!
Not to mention the voice cast includes Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls), Bruno Campos (Nip/Tuck), Keith David (Gargoyles), John Goodman, Terrence Howard and Oprah Winfrey.
I can't wait to hear the music - it's stated to be jazz - and the singing. Anika Noni Rose is obviously a singer, and as the princess she'll undoubtedly have at least one song. I hope that we get a villain song, and, since Keith David can most definitely sing (what with his background in stage musicals), that looks like a definite possibility.
