ooh, X-files, god it's been forever since I read any XF. If you want an epic, crazy, hilarious, mysterious, and in some places utterly over the top X-file, read "Goin' Down South" by David Hearne (yes, he's another Phile turned Scaper!). It's got a great plot (reminiscent of the Preacher graphic novel series), and is just wrong on so many levels but is so well-written and characterized.
(And, I never wrote Romance, but at one point I came close: Root Beer Realities. Crackfic. In the year of 1999 I also failed miserably on the GRE II Math Subject test because I spent the three weeks leading up to it writing a complete MST-ing of the Episode "Biogenesis" for my friends at the Mulder and Scully Hate Each Other Society.)
X-Files M/S: "Generations" series by macspooky -Follows Mulder and Scully from dating to familyhood ;) "The Magician" series by Suzanne Bickerstaffe and Jennifer Lyon -M & S end up in a Tolkien-ish realm, where they're the subject of a prophecy "Tempest" by Missy Pennington -M & S's plane crashes in the wilderness. Bonus: Scully on Demerol "It Just Happened" by Mystic -M + S + kids = awesomeness
Those are sone of my personal faves. All novel-length... especially "The Magician." That's, like, War and Peace length. :P
Oooh, I don't think I've read any of those! It's been YEARS since I've read any new X-Files fic. I think the last time I really read more than the passing vignette was before the series ended.
And a ReBoot rec, my darling? You know our beloved fandom is all but dead. *Emo tear* Oh, but I just reread "The Most Dangerous Game" by Centris124 and CPFace's "The Adventures of Boot". Twas all mimsy with delight.

For Farscape, I'm rather fond of:
Scientist, Astronaut, and Nymphomaniac: The Nine Lives of John Crichton by feldman.
Promises by aeryncrichton.
Almost rec'd you "Weirder Things" and then I realized you wrote it. Heh.
What pairing are you looking for in Firefly? I have links to some good Simon/Kaylee if that floats your boat.

Between A Rock And A Heartache - NC-17
Figment - PG, no smut
My Princess Leia - PG, John tells Aeryn about Star Wars, post LATP
The Dress - PG-13, the fluffiest J/A story I know.
