(not a) FIRE!!!!
Dear Smoke Detectors,
My house is not on fire. There is no smoke, no burning smells, not hot spots on walls that could have electrical fires, no overheated appliances. I checked for you. And, while half of the house is without power, that is no reason for you to freak out. While I appreciate that you are diligent and go off at the drop of a hat, that you are hard-wired together so ALL of you go off at once, and that you have battery back ups incase of a power outage, I really wish you'd shut the fuck up right now. It was a power spike, NOT a fire!
