The first wave of this so-called invasion was trivial at best. The 'jackmice', despite their mitotic behavior, were nothing I would consider a threat. To the grain stores of these people, perhaps, but little else.
They replicate when injured by bladed weapons, losing neither mass nor ferocity in the process. This condition persists when they are unconscious. To the extent of my abilities, I have determined that they carry no disease, and considering the mad-cap dash to annihilate them, well. I doubt they will trouble these people in sufficient numbers for a while.
Eider is no better prepared than the Temple. I suspect the same of Ardel. Whether or not this is a situation worth salvaging... has yet to be seen.
Combat status: green and holding, despite the damage to my arm. The Sangheili has much to answer for. Cybernetic implants are hardly a joy to repair, or replace.
Noble Team, still dark. Always late to the party.
