Years ago I bought something called a summer daffodil that wasn't iirc (and I may not) actually in the daffodil family (I think not the narcissus stuff being sold as a summer daffodil now) but it never bloomed. I lost track of it, thought it was the plant in the shade with kind of a lily-like stalk, but that has finally bloomed (at the other house, where it is in shade that is not as dry) and it is definitely some kind of lily, white with pink edges. Pretty, anyway.

G has been totting up how much we didn't spend on blueberries by how much we've picked. It sounds impressive at first, but if you try to make up for buying an entire property, though, it's going to take a loooong time.
We made our first blueberry cobbler but that recipe wasn't satisfactory so there'll be another with a more crisp-like topping. Last year we did waffles, scones, and a couple of cream pies that were ok but needed more blueberries in the cream glop.
