good start
So far this day is going pretty well.
the builders are setting up scaffolding outside, my children are sick, and it feels like I've twisted my left ankle but still it's good.
I feel energised - mentally if not physically. I've adulted and made appointments and called schools and made my bed and put on a load of laundry. I'm reading a Robin McKinley book that I'm enjoying, the Mikado is playing at smashing volume, and I have a cup of coffee.
I've been picking at the Novel like a child at a healing scab, but after yesterday I've decided to stop worrying about if my agent likes this book or not and just write to enjoy it. The publishing industry is so fucked anyway, trying to keep on top of it is just a recipe for despair.
