Wow, that was beautiful. Just loved that and the imagery was wonderful. The bit abotu making up more quickly now because time is not on their side made my heart hurt. Wonderfully sad, if you understand me. :)

On a completely unrelated note, I looked up your profile on FF.N and I noticed that a) you're Canadian and that b) you have a story called Lake Effect Snow. Would I be correct in assuming you're from Southwestern Ontario?

Thanks so very much, really. Aging and death have been very much on my mind lately, so this story kind of just...appeared, and fit in completely with my beloved John and Sherlock characters :)

I AM Canadian! And I DO live in Southwestern Ontario! WOOT! About half an hour southwest of Toronto to be exact, lol, on the shores of lovely Lake Ontario. You, too? LAKE EFFECT SNOW FOR THE WIN.

I hope that nothing terrible has happened to make you think about aging and death. I hope that all your wonderful reviews have given you something happier to think about. :)

Did you like my Sherlockian deduction, lol? :D I'm in Edmonton now but for the first 23 years of my life I called London home. Going back to visit family next month - can't wait!

Oh, nothing terrible, lol, other than getting old...and the odd and macabre way my mind works :D I LOVED your deduction, however, and it was spot on. Edmonton! Do you have snow yet? It has been unseasonably warm here for November, but I know snow is on its way...soon! Not in the snow belt like the London area, but we usually get a goodly amount.

I hear you about the getting old! As for my deduction :p , I was just going to say "So where in southwestern Ontario are you?" but then I thought, what if I'm wrong and there's another area in Canada that uses that term? So I threw in the "can I assume..." or whatever it is I wrote. It would have been so much more fun the other way, lol! No snow yet, but that can change here in Edmonton on the turn of a dime. So ask me in ten minutes. :D Whereabouts are you, incidentally? Cheers,

Shaindy
