dragging my feet...
I've been really hesitant to get started on this presentation that i have for one of my classes. I love the class, its one of my favorites, but the class has kind of gone off the rails the second half of the semester. The prof canceled two classes (and we only meet once a week) and then he got sick so he canceled another class. We have a final paper and a presentation, I'm presenting on the 30th of April and then on the 2nd of may i've got my final paper due for him. But he's not very good with the guide lines, and i'm not really sure what's expected of me, its very much all over the place, plus its the end of the semester and i'm read for for a break and then a new set of classes. I'm kinda done with this set. Its always easier when i'm the one doing the teaching, that way i can create structure. I don't do well without it. And this class and one other that i have structure is /really/ thin on the ground. I know some people thrive on that kind of environment, i, sadly, am not one of them.
My shoulder has been really bad, i finally broke down and went to the dr. And decided after that visit that it was time to get a /new/ doctor b/c she failed spectacularly to actually listen to what i was saying. I will not be returning. But it does mean that i have to hunt up a new one. *sigh*
I get to Tank sit this week. Yay! Once Stacy gets back from Costco we're all going to go to the dog park! Woo. The dog park is awesome. I need to remember to bring water for him this time. He runs himself stupid, but who can blame him since he spends so much time cooped up in his crate. I still think its a shitty way to take care of a dog.
Let see, in other news, Passover was a big hit again this year. I had a really great time, and so did the folk who came over. We had all newbies again this year. Its so much fun to have folk who've never been to a Seder before. We try to invite people who haven't come before that i think will be interested, plus all the people that we've previously invited. This year none of the folks from last year could make it, so we had all new kids. Next year will be *hugs* if everybody from this year and last year and some new faces are all able to come. I think i'll be a good time. :D
