Natural Balance was fabulous for my cat (he has (we think) grain allergies), but he got fat on it. So now he's on Felidae Platinum (weight control) which I also really like. Both are really good foods from what I can tell and everything I've heard.

my cat eats wellness dry food and nutro wet food. she used to eat science diet. i can't really say any difference it has made because i never noticed any. all i know is i have to make a special trip to get the wellness food, but she seems to love it, so i do it for her. haha.

My cat wasn't too terribly fond of the Wellness dry. She was on the senior formula (maybe? it was the purple bag). A friend of mine who runs a cat rescue found similar results with her rescues (roughly 30 of them).

I currently have her on Innova Evo and she loves it.

We've had great luck with ours on Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. We like it so much we just switched our dog over to the dog version.

Meat byproducts are a technical term which don't really say much about the quality of the meat. What they define are the parts of the animal that are incorporated. By products are basically all the bits of the animal that aren't commonly used for human consumption on that rendering line. This would include things like intestines, stomach, heart, kidneys, liver, bone, skin, and so forth in addition to muscle meat. While this may seem disgusting to a human these bits contain amino acids, trace elements, and other proteins that cats need for health. If you were making home made cat food you'd need to supplement chicken breast and thighs with this stuff anyway ( ... )

Wellness wet food has always been a hit with my crew. Felidae wet was a hit the first night and then was uninteresting.

The innova wet food was inhaled. I've never seen anything like it.
