For about 2 weeks now, Andromeda has been vomiting exactly twice a week. I thought it might've been hairballs since most of the time the vomit was hairy and she's been shedding a lot since the temperature got hot. I thought daily brushing might do the trick, but nope. No dice. I've tried brushing her, brushing her with a special brush made to combat shedding, and giving her her digestive aid gel twice a week (usually she gets it once a week). Since nothing's been working I'm starting to worry. Andromeda doesn't usually vomit so much.
She hasn't been acting sick...she's been acting perfectly normal. Her activity level is the same, her sleeping patterns are the same, she licks herself a lot (another reason I thought it was probably hairballs) but she always cleans herself a lot. She's been going to the bathroom normal except a lot of the time the poop is hairier than usual and it ends up sticking to her, causing her to scoot and leave it on the stairs (another reason I thought hairballs: this used to be a once a month problem if that, now it's a once a day problem).
The last thing I'm going to try is feeding her in my room (since lately her sister's been a bit of a food-stealer and that might have something to do with it) and getting her old digestive aid gel (since I had to switch to a new one since I accidentally threw the one she usually gets away, so I had to use one I had lying around. It's not perscription, it's just a hairball gel).
Does anyone have any advice or know what her problem might be? Or is it time for another vet visit?
