oh gosh, they are so sweet!
makes me want another one :)

the best flea advice i have is to comb with a flea comb regularly, and keep your house vaccuumed OFTEN to avoid eggs/fleas falling into and staying int he carpet.

Buddha was about the same age when I adopted him, fleas and all. He got bathed once every 2 days (I was paranoid about him getting cold and sick because of how young he was), and flea combed about twice a day. Dawn dishsoap became my best friend.

He also got a trip to the vet once a week where she'd rub him down with alcohol-smelling flea killing stuff. It was the only thing that was safe enough for young kittens, but not very effective for keeping the fleas away.

I couldn't have been happier to celebrate his 6 week birthday. It meant a trip to the vet for Revolution and a nice farewell to the fleas. Even months after the fleas are off of the kittens, you'll need to give them flea medication and vacuum a lot. They can live in the carpet for quite some time. I would definitely recommend Revolution when they're old enough too, since it'll kill just about anything else they may have gotten bug-wise, such as ear mites.

Good luck :)

neem oil on their fur works really well. since they're so little (and totally adorable, i might add, though you know this..), and neem is known to be toxic in large doses, you might want to get the edible kind (extract, i think it's water or alcohol based instead of oil.) it's from the leaf not the seed. if you don't know it, you can go to any natural foods store to get it. shouldn't cost more than $13 for a little bottle.
