as you should know, dave treated me to a weekend away in brisbane (interstate) for my birthday *yay*
so i flew up last friday night & we came home on sunday night!
came home from work on friday, to a beautiful pink room!!!
multiple-orgasms the second i walked into my room, oh it's gorgeous!!!
dulux "white on white". turned out blue-grey. go figure. matches the pink though :D
did all my packing in the space of 20 minutes, which is actually BRILLIANT time!
BUT I FORGOT MY GOD DAMN CAMERA *CRIES*
geez, it took me&dave about 3 hours to pack when i went to melbourne last month *laughs*
but then again this time around my mum came over & helped me, so the focus was more on what's clean & ironed? ,

so me and my broken suitcase grooved down to the airport, made love to some crappy airport food & met EMMA! (”starlet20”
and the coolest thing was that she was actually at the door when i walked off the plane,
which has NEVER happened to me before, (except when i met up with Samantha in paris!)
coz the U.S airports won’t let you do that, and i did the solo thang in melbourne!
did the airport shrieks and hugs when i saw her!
recognized her immediately, even though she doesn’t look a THING like her photos!
i swear, we got back to her house and she showed me a billion photos of herself
and she looks different in every pic!
but then again when i met ben, he didn’t look like he does "on the computer" at all!

woke up super-early and was not in the best of moods (I NEED SLEEP!)
however em was a darl and brought me CORNFLAKES IN BED!!!
coolest thing? she used her room-mate's lite milk BECAUSE SHE KNEW I CAN'T DRINK FULL-CREAM!

got dressed & hopped on a bus to THE VALLEY and met MELLIE! (earthlydelite)
once again, there were shrieks&hugs thrown all over the place!!!
em had to go to uni for awhile, so me&mellie did the whole mega shopping experience!
AND WE WENT TO THE I MISS YOU CAFE *laughs hysterically*
which turned out to be this WEIRD cafe with NO tables, just STOOLS!
had coffee with mel's yoga teacher (who was SUCH a sweetie!)
interesting conversation about meeting people off the internet, apparently i'm such a brave person!
i fell in love with the guy that works there *swoon*
shopping shopping shopping. brisbane is SO FUCKING CHEAP!!!
bought this beautiful pink beaded necklace (which i'm wearing now!),
a brightly-coloured rainbow necklace,
brown singlet top with matching BROWN MESH TOP <3 <3 <3
and a turquoise t-shirt.
then mellie had to go, but she said she'd try and see me later that night!
so she did the swap-over with em & was off on her sweet way :)
had lunch at the coffee club with emma, then her friend scott came and joined us!
then went shopping with them & bought a nice black jumper from witchery :)
REALLY REALLY wanted these cocktail glasses, but had to let them be *pouts*
drove back to emma's house, cranked "stripped" on full-blast, had coffee & just gossiped!
bitched about the scene and it's exactly the same as sydney, which was amusing.
then dave rang & said his flight had come in & he'd meet us back at the hotel,
so we grabbed our things & grooved over to the apartments. getting a little lost...
happily bounced around, then carla & her partner came over, whilst me&em watched the matrix!
took me a second to get used to the fact that i didn't have his sole attention *laughs*
in case you didn't know, i have the BIGGEST jealousy streak. it's a terrible flaw of mine.
then mel rang & i told her to get her ass over here and come to the beat! she accepted!
went to a bottle shop, bought vodka & over-priced orange juice.
emma was armed with midori & lemonade!
so we sat and watched matrix & started to drink ourselves silly!
then mel came over, grabbed her a glass & joined in on the fun!
it started to get late & we figured we'd better get ready, before we got too drunk *rofl*
so i went into the bedroom and ATTEMPTED to figure out what the fuck i was going to wear.
got distressed and them em&mel came in and tried to help me!
"sweetie, honey. your jumper's on back-to-front!"

"what are you going to wear?"
"everything makes me look faaattt, i dun wanna go out!!"
after a large amount of whining, i finally emerged in my jeans & a black jumper.

walked to The Beat (brisbane version of arq, but less drugs & more trashy pop music!)
$2.50 drinks. i gave dave $10 and he came back with 4 drinks. supplies!
ran up the stairs and met BINDY! (lj user="cancerian">)
was terribly excited & drunk and tried my HARDEST to be normal. didn't work.
i just feel really awful that she met me under those circumstances *laughs*
so we gossiped for awhile, rang akte and then she had to go :(
but she turned out to be SUCH a LOVELY person and i was v.happy to meet her!
drank and drank and drank! dave was absolutely PARALETIC!!!
SOMEHOW ended up having a conversation where MY KISSING STYLE WAS BEING DISSED!

so i got offended and felt i had to prove myself, by kissing everyone on the table *laughs*

THEN decided to WALK to the city, which turned out better than first expected.

got to the shops, then forced myself to throw up, because i was dying in pain!

then we went back to the valley & BACK TO THE BEAT *laughs*
they call it "sunday funday". a nice way to end the week.
and off to the airport!
had a BRILLIANT time on the flight home, soooooo much fun!
of course we sat next to eachother and it was just the best experience ever!
grooving along with the headphones & miming to all the songs!
and fix my sink was on the radio, which is OUR SONG! we made a dance to it!
so we're bouncing in our seats, doing the hand gestures and it was absolutely fantastic :D

i loved brisbane and thought it was the most beautiful place ever.
but it's much too quiet for me to ever consider living there.
adored "the valley". go figure.
looking very forward to another trip up there in the future :)
