Pleasant Times
We’ve had a pleasant couple of weeks. Last weekend Susan, Kevin, Ruby, Annie and Cheyenne, our grand dog, came for a visit! We hadn’t seen them for what seems like a long time...everyone was in good form and we had a pleasant time! On Saturday we went to Scott and Christine’s for dinner and a gift exchange for the winter/spring family birthdays-Susan, Kevin, me, Cameron and Scott!!! The girls put together a delicious pasta dinner...rotini with meat sauce, Caesar salad and cold chicken ) and Bob’s amazing garlic toast..ice cream bars for dessert.
And today, Christine brought a sushi lunch for Bob and I for Father’s Day (and Mother’s Day also as I was in Ca for Mother’s Day)...Earlier Bob and I were at the Fairmont to take in the first sun we’ve had since our return. Bob said it was a “perfect Father’s Day”...we had a lovely “catch-up” with Christine!
Nothing brings us more pleasure than spending quality time with our adult children and grandchildren!!!
We’ve gone from cold, windy and a little rain to HOT HOT HOT for the entire coming week...am going to go to the Fairmont early tomorrow morning, catch some sun, do an acqua fit class and then more sun! :o)
