Here are the rest of the photos. Cat Whisperer and I decided to take the long, scenic drive back through Niagara Falls, so I've included a couple of photos from there, as well.
Ready for Dinner
A quick photo in our hotel room before we walk to the hotel restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner. On the left are our friends Mark and Nancy, then me and Cat Whisperer.
New Year's Eve Dinner
Waiting for our food at the Pillar and Post Restaurant. On the left are our friends Mark and Nancy, on the right, Cat Whisperer and Me. For some reason, Cat Whisperer refused to wear his tiara.
Decor in the Hotel Lobby
Note that the woman in the middle is wearing my New Year's tiara (courtesy of Cat Whisperer).
Donna and the Whirlpool
The whirlpool (below the wires, on which you can take an "aerocar" across) is a notoriously dangerous part of the Niagara River below the Falls.
Glimpsing the Falls
The bare trees allows us a rare view of the Horseshoe Falls from the rapids above.
Donna at the Horseshoe Falls
Donna is a fan of Niagara Falls, especially the Canadian Falls (aka Horseshoe Falls).
Customs Wait
The inevitable wait at Customs on the Peace Bridge, the price of our side trip down the Niagara Parkway to see the Falls. A hour earlier and we probably would have missed this. Fortunately, we had a book on CD with us to make the wait less frustrating.
Impatient
Donna is impatient to get home. However, she really likes her new sweater.
