I got a 96 on my foundations midterm!!!
That makes me so freakin' thrilled beyond belief. It makes me realize that, hey, maybe I'm not quite as dumb as I think I am. :)
Frank and I exchanged our V-Day presents tonight... I gave him a stuffed leopard holding a heart that says "Hug Me," a canister of "Vodka Shots" - chocolate filled with Russian vodka, some Jack Daniels-filled chocolates, and a nifty multi-tool with his name engraved on it, and all sorts of nifty stuff in it, including a corkscrew, bottle opener, scissors, screwdriver with a few different interchangeable tips, knives, etc. He seemed to really like it. He gave me tons of chocolate (mostly of the Reeses variety... *drool*) and a pair of absolutely gorgeous opal earrings. Opals are my favorite stone! So... yay! Tomorrow we're gonna just get out and have fun... we're going to the Indian buffet for lunch, then candlepin bowling, then he's cooking me eggplant parmesan, and then we're going to see the Masque play. All in all, a nice low-key, fun V-Day. :)
