Kevin, Jeff and I went to see Sister Hazel at the Avalon last night, making the 3rd time I've seen them (2nd time with full band). It was a good show, but the Avalon was pretty empty, as far as it goes. I guess Wednesday night will do that, though. Still, it was a fun time, even though I was dead tired.

We ran into Stu Berk of Averi there, and chatted with him for a few minutes. That makes the second time I've run into him at a Boston-area show (the other time was about a year ago at a Dada show at Harper's Ferry with Jeff). It's cool to see members of other bands you like out and about, enjoying the music scene. Though I'm not sure I'm gonna be a fan of the "new" Averi (Averi without Chad Perrone is still such a weird concept, even over a year later), Stu always seemed pretty cool. We'll see what happens with them, I guess.

Going to concerts on weeknights is fun! Going to Boston Beer Works beforehand and knocking back a few with dinner makes it even more fun! We definitely need to go out and have a few drinks on random weeknights more often. More weeknight fun in general is certainly called for - although that requires a certain degree of with-it-atude that I don't always possess.
