Scary driver...
So tonight, my friend Kristen and I were the way home from the mall/Friendly's, and I was driving. We were stopped at a red light, and I looked in the rearview mirror, and noticed an ambulance coming, but it was still a good distance away. I made a mental note of it, and then noticed a car speeding towards my stopped car pretty quickly. He veered off to the right, so I thought he was just some impatient fool who was gonna try to cut around on the shoulder or something to make a right. NOPE. He hops the curb, knocks over a couple of street signs, and plows into some bushes. All this is RIGHT NEXT TO ME. The light turns, and we all go, and Kristen and I look at the fool's car - it's all messed up in the front and stuff. So the ambulance from before comes, and I pull over, and as I'm getting back on the road, I look in my rearview, and see that fool's car getting back on the road! WTF? He comes driving down fairly quickly behind me, so I'm kinda freaking out, because I don't want this blasted fool behind me. I turned off at the next light and turned around in the parking lot, so that guy would get a decent distance in front of me on the main road. We didn't see him any more the rest of the ride home, but we definitely half-expected him to be wrapped around a tree on the way back. It was just so freaky though. If he had hit me instead of hopping the curb, at the speed he was going, my van would have been extremely sad. And it wasn't like I stopped suddenly or anything like that, I was sitting at a red light. Geez.
