Why is it?

That even though Logan isn't here I cannot sleep before 12am? Even when my throat is pants and I am knackered?

I was going to go out but I knew I would feel worse with all the smoke and idiots, anyway my mum called me with some family gossip and that went on till 10.15pm and I was only wearing my towel. A bit late to start getting ready from absolute zero.

The bags under my eyes are frightening. How did I get to look so old? Someone took a pic of me at RW last week and I look plain haggard around the eyes. You can tell I am a new mum. Flipping 'eck.

Next week we are on a healthy eating week. We are doing something called the Montignac diet. Which is basically about GI index and keeping your blood sugar at an easily maintainable level. Rather than eating high sugar/low fibre foods and then crashing after 30 - 60 minutes and feeling hungry again.

So, lots of water, veggies, fruit, lean meat, whole grain bread/rice, salads etc. We can eat good fats like olive oil (I only use extra virgin olive oil anyway), oily fish (which we don't *like* LOL). Basically no huge intakes of sugar and starch. Its also about the way we eat foods and the order you eat them in. So like food combining too. Very healthy but seems to make logical sense.

I really want to cut down on the sugar and refined foods I eat so this should be an interesting week. We can eat as much as we want of all good healthy foods. I love veggies anyay! I don't eat as much fruit as I should...Sounds like what the health charts at doctors surgeries have said for years about 20% of this on your plate and less than 5% of that.

No more chips for a bit, or chocolate bars (unless it is 70% cocoa).

Looking forward to it actually. I crave healthy eating. Just wish I like fish more.
