Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Catherine. Now, she wasn't technically royalty, but if you asked anyone who knew her, she couldn't be anything but a princess. She had flowing hair of red gold, and eyes as blue as the sky on a sunny day. And she lived in a magical city, where there were glitter and lights all the time, even in the middle of the night.
Now, Catherine was a very special princess indeed, for she had dedicated her life to slaying dragons, which as you probably know, was not a normal thing for a princess to do. And it so happened that the magical city she lived in was constantly plagued with dragons of all kinds, so she was always busy.
She hadn't always fought dragons. There was a time when Catherine was very lost, and she had to leave her mommy and daddy to get to the magic city. She had never seen dragons at home, for she lived far far away and had been very sheltered. So, when she met her first dragon, she didn't know how to recognize him. He was a sneaky dragon, and he cast an evil spell on her that made her fall in love with him, and they got married.
It was only when Catherine had a baby princess of her own that she was able to break the spell, because she felt what real love was like when she held Princess Lindsey in her arms. That was when she decided that she had to protect Lindsey and all the other little girls and boys from the evil dragons that would try to hurt them.
Catherine didn't have to fight them alone, though; she had a whole team of trusty knights to help her. And even though she could have done it all by herself, it would have been very lonely, so she let them help out when there was a particularly nasty dragon to face. Together, they saved the lives of damsels in distress all over their fair city.
One day, Catherine met a new friend named Holly, who wanted to slay dragons with Catherine and her team of knights. Holly was pretty and nice, and everyone liked her. But on Holly's first day, she was hurt by a really mean, nasty dragon. The whole team was very sad when they found out. Catherine's cohort, Sir Grissom, decided that they needed help to find this dragon, and he knew just the person.
Now, far away, on the edge of the land, in a city where the buildings stretched up to the sky, there was a knight. Her name was Sara, and her hair and eyes were the color of chocolate. Most people think only boys can be knights, but Sara proved them all wrong. She could slay dragons better than most of the boy knights she knew, and she was prettier too. When Sir Grissom sent for her, Lady Sara came right away, and she helped Catherine slay the evil dragon.
When the dragon was gone, Sara was supposed to go home. After all, there were lots of dragons at home that were still hurting innocent people, and someone needed to slay them. Fortunately, Sara had many friends back home who would continue to fight the dragons there. So, since Sara had found out she really liked it in this magical city, she decided to stay and be a part of Catherine's team.
