i love new york! as they say...
just got back from an awesome city. went there for an advertising conference, and had a blast. we went to the today show (after being up all night) and i *almost* shook al roker's hand.. our hands were literally 6 inches away from each others. katie currick (sp?) was outside for a bit too.. she applies her own makeup! weird..
then slept.. then found out that i'm interested in account planning bc i talked to some really helpful ad. professionals at the "kick off party"
friday night we went to the china room.. sooo awesome there. johnny depp has been there, as well as some other celebs like matt broderick and some others.. many others..
long islands were 13 dollars, and yes i paid for them. two of 'em.. and then some 9 dollar shots of jose, but they were at least doubles.. good times.
we stayed in the new yorker in manhattan, which overlooks madison square garden and penn station. we could also see the empire state building from our room (23rd floor), and the chrysler building. the 39th floor had continental breakfasts, so we went up there and could see sooooo much of ny it was amazing. we could see the statue of liberty, and all kinds of other awesome buildings and things. it was incredible.
the people i went with were great, too... except for our vice president. she's awful and screwed up soo many times, and is an inconsiderate bitch. :) hah.. ppl in ad club are hoping to have her impeached. she left a day early, and we (not the president or any officer of the club) were left to find that we didn't have enough money for the hotel. turns out the two suites were 2800 for the 3 nights, instead of 1400. ouch.. luckily some sweet girls had credit cards.. but that chick better be impeached or whatever. geeze.. so now i must do some homework, and go to bed. k bye.
