Holy hell, my real life is exhausting. I think that's the main reason it took me so long to produce this fic, the next in my list of owed Haiti auction fic. Something about the fic itself made it difficult, too, but I don't really know what! Having no laptop for 10+ days didn't help, either.:(

Oh my god I tried to read it in small doses because I was already emotionally wrecked, like two paragraphs in, but I couldn't stop.

God, Kris sitting back and waiting and thinking that Adam would be happier with Kevin, seeing that Adam was happy and telling himself that made his own loss okay -- I just wanted to reach through the computer screen and grab him and shake some sense into him.

And Adam, knowing how amazing they would be together, like he never had a doubt for a single second.

Ah, this comment means so much! <333 I'm sorry, though, that it seems to have made people sad.:( It's hard for me, sometimes, to "see" the characters in the same way as readers, since I know what their future holds. But yeah, Kris did have a tough time there for a while.

Adam recognized something in Kris, something super right for him, so he didn't have a doubt. He just didn't think it was possible.
