(no subject)
So its definitely been a really fun week...
The beginning of the week my friend Leon from Brazil was here and I got to take him all around the city. On Monday we went to see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, on Tuesday we went to the UN (which I had never been to before and obviously loved) and on Wednsday we went to the MET but it was during the power outage so we couldn't stay long. All in all thought it was a good few days during touristy city stuff i never did before and it was also really good to get to know him. I never really got to spend that much time with Leon and now that his english is a lot better, he actually got to talk.
Then on Thursday I took him to the airport and then went down to the Jersey Shore to see Derek and Jonky. I love them so much so it was fun. For my birthday on friday we just went to the beach and drank vodka tonics. It was exactly everything I hoped and dreamed for.
Then on Saturday Derek and I came back to Hoboken to see the Feiry Furnaces. I dont really like them at all, but they are his favorite band so...ya know. Then today I went to a wolf preserve! In Jersey! It was amazing. Wolves are absolutely beautiful and amazing.
Wow...its been a wonderful week...
