Another random post with no bitching about a stupid boy this time!

So the past couple of weeks have been kind of exhausting. Brad was here visiting. I didn't get to see him a whole lot 'cause I was working during the week and would be way too tired to hang out for long after work. I did spend most of the day with him at CelticFest on Saturday.....ok, well, like six hours or so. It was raining alot so it was a little miserable. He left me around 7:00 to go home 'cause he was bored. That Sunday I went back to CelticFest without him 'cause he said he was gonna hang out with his parents. As I was walking around CelticFest, I got a few calls that I didn't hear. One of them was Brad saying that he was heading to CelticFest with Beth. The other was Kristin saying she was also coming to CelticFest. After I got both of those messages, I saw Kat walking around. So after a little while of wondering around CelticFest we all headed out to get something to eat at Froghead Grill in Clinton. It was tasty as usual.

This past weekend I was going to hang out with Brad on Friday. He ended up going to Hattiesburg to see his grandmother. He said we could hang out later that night, but I knew I would be way too tired to do anything useful. So I opted to see him on Saturday instead. He was leaving on Sunday morning to head back to Norway. So I text'd him when I got out of the shower to see what he was doing. He called me back and told me in a very monotone tone that he was with his dad running errands and that he would let me know when he got back home. Now if any of you know Brad well at all, you would know that he is an expressive person and only talks in monotones if he's upset about something. So I knew something was wrong. He called me back, still speaking in the same tone, to tell me he was home. I asked him what was wrong, and he told me nothing. I tell him I've still gotta get dressed and such, but that I'd be there before noon. So around 11ish I called him to let him know I was leaving the house. He's still all monotoney. So I ask him what is wrong with him again insisting that there IS actually something wrong. He still says there's nothing wrong and that he'll see me when I get there. So I get there and knock on both the back and front doors. Finally getting him to come out, he walks out and gets in the car. I tell him that if he's gonna be mopey all day that he can just get out of the car 'cause I can't deal with that right now. He starts to get out of the car. I tell him to get back in, and he gets all upset. He pours his heart out to me. So I make him get in the car, and we head to the Natural Science and History museum. I was planning on playing on the playground out there for a little while before actually going into the museum, but it started raining shortly after we got there. Anyway, long story short, I cheered him up. We ended up having a really good day looking around the museum, shopping, getting a bite to eat, and making smoothies. I'm glad I could cheer him up. I would have hated to see him leave on a sad note. I know he's happier in Norway. I just miss him alot sometimes.

What's sort of funny but not is that I had some issues with my sinuses starting Saturday. Sunday they ended up blowing up in my face.....literally. By the end of Sunday I knew I had a full blown sinus infection. My nose was running and my head felt like it was going to explode at any minute. Sunday night I ended up going to bed early but woke up at midnight. I could NOT get back to sleep to save my life. So I just got up and did some things around the house. I found that the cats' food was infested with ants. So I cleaned that up. After that I found that Boudreaux had some poop bits hanging onto his butt fur. I had to get that off him 'cause I could tell it was bothering him. After all that it was around 1:30. I tried laying back down to see if I could sleep. No luck. So I called work to tell them I wouldn't be coming in. I finally got back to sleep around 6:00 I think. I went to Byram Family Clinic originally to see Dr. Coachys 'cause Donald recommended him. I ended up seeing Dr. Proctor 'cause Dr. Coachys was booked. That's what I get for walking in, but I had no clue I was gonna have a sinus infection on Monday to make an appointment on Friday. Oh well. He was nice enough. He gave me some Nasonex and prescriptions for an antibiotic and steroids. I'm already feeling a good bit better than I was yesterday. I'm still stuffed up a good bit, but I can at least breath through my nose now.

My Jessica Rabbit costume is coming together nicely. I don't have the costume itself yet, but I do have most of the pieces now. I got the wig in on Monday. The only thing I need to get other than the actual costume is some red lipstick. I still have yet to try out the eyeshadow too. I'll do that while I'm playing with the wig this weekend. I can't wait to see the outfit! I talked to the lady via Etsy on Monday while I was not sleeping in the middle of the night about the slit on the skirt. She said it wasn't too late to change the length of the slit. She said she could show the skirt on her leg so I could decide how much higher I want the slit. She's really a good person to work with. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a custom costume with a corset. Her nick on Etsy is EveningArwen....you know, just in case y'all ever look for something like that. Also if you're looking for a wig of some sort, I'd recommend this lady's site. The wigs are a bit pricey, but she ships really quickly. I ordered my wig on Saturday and received it on Monday. I was so impressed by this that I emailed her letting her know how much I appreciated it.

Anyway, that's my random post for the time being. I'm sure there will be another when I am so inclined to talk about something.
