Zidane & Maple
Originally uploaded by CatGoddessToday my dear kitty friend, Maple, passed. She wasn't my cat.....she belonged to Brad, but I spent alot of time with her before he moved. Shelia took Maple in when Brad left for Norway. She'd been living happily with Shelia and her other cats for a while. Recently Shelia told me she wasn't doing so well. She was getting skinny and wouldn't eat or drink without help. Shelia took her to the vet yesterday. They pulled fluid out of her backside and said she had an old broken back injury. I got a message from Shelia not an hour or so ago telling me she just stretched, sighed, and she was gone. Poor baby at least left this world peacefully. Now she'll be with her best buddy, Zidane, in kitty heaven. Rest in peace, sweet Maple. I hope to see both you and Zidane on the other side.
