So I just made a wasted trip to the UPS store in Clinton. Evidently they need where the corset was made and a telephone number to send it to Canada. Wish I had known that before I wasted the gas to go out there..... Anybody know where Alter Ego is? Or a telephone number? Their ebay store says it's in the US, but no phone number. Since when did it get so hard to ship something to someone in Canada?
This weekend was fairly boring. Friday we didn't do a whole lot. We ate Mexican around 7 then headed to a couple of bookstores to see if they had The Watchman graphic novel. One of them did, but it was way more than David was willing to pay.....$75 is a bit much. We headed back to the house and David played Conan for the rest of the night while I watched live coverage from ComicCon on G4.
Saturday wasn't much more exciting. Woke up around noon and read for a while. When David woke up he did his thing....I'm sure Conan was involved at some point. I stopped paying attention. I got to play around on Ryan's bass guitar for a little while. I found out my hands are a bit small for it....it hurts my wrist. After I got bored with that I went back to David's room. He was playing on his PS3. He downloaded some game called Siren. It's a horror game.....pretty neat actually. I watched while he played that for a while. It's a very creepy Japanese game with a form of zombies. I couldn't play it, but it was fun watching David play. Around 5ish in the morning he got tired of playing I guess and put on Batman: the Gotham Knight.....it's an animated cartoon montage kinda thing. I fell asleep shortly after he started that.
Sunday we watched a few movies at the house then went to see The Dark Knight. I have to say that this is one of the better newer Batman movies. Heath Ledger did a great job with the Joker.....he really outdid Christian Bale as Batman. Even the guy that played Harvey Dent/Two Face was good. I definitely recommend seeing it in the theater if you can. I was kinda antsy there at the end, but I think it was mainly 'cause I hadn't eaten all day and was ready to get some food. After the movie was over we stopped by Burger King to get something to eat. By that point I felt like someone was stabbing my head with a sharp object. After I ate, David helped me take stuff to my car so I could get going. He does this whole cleaning thing on Sundays.....I try to leave so he can get it done and go to bed.
Today....well, you know what I did today by reading the top part of this post. So yeah......
