Before work I dropped off my refill for my birth control at Walgreens. I got like $8 in tips tonight which was a little disappointing, but I only took three deliveries so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Cause, if it is, I might start looking into alternative birth control... I thought the NuvaRing was expensive at $50.

No, it's $130 for three months. But the $114 for three months equaled out what I paid for the birth control I was on before every month....that is three months of the OrthoTricylin would equal the same as what I am paying for the Seasonale I'm on now.

I can barely handle it myself, but it helps that I only have to find the money every third month. I gotta see if maybe there's a cheaper place to get it from though....or find some insurance that will pay for it.

Have you tried contacting the Mississippi State Health Department?

They do offer birth control services to the public, and it's a lot cheaper than through private practitioners and pharmacies. Or, it was when I was still there.

Last time I talked to them they didn't take appointments. You have to go in on certain days early in the morning and hope you get seen. AND the only one that actually does that is the one in the medical mall.
