I really am seriously starting to get tired of the shit they keep doing to me at work. I'm scheduled to get off at 8 every night. I know this. They know this. I wasn't feeling all that well when I went in tonight, but I went in anyway. I could have just as easily called in, but I didn't 'cause I knew they'd be shorthanded. So at 8 I told Chris, the manager, that I would take one more delivery then I'd have to leave. I got back around 8:30 and got my money together. I ended up not leaving 'til 9:30 'cause the damn phone wouldn't stop ringing. Around 9:20 Chris even asked me if I could take another delivery. I told him no. I swear to all that is on this Earth that I will quit this job in a heartbeat if they keep doing this shit. It has ceased to be amusing and it's totally not worth it. I even hurt myself last week taking some of the larger deliveries. Granted I got some good tips last week, but it's not worth me hurting myself to take the damn deliveries. I hate this job...seriously hate it.
