I'm not gonna do it!
I know most everybody does a year in review post. Well, I won't do it! Mainly 'cause I don't remember most of it......and 'cause I know nothing of great import happened in 2007 in my life other than getting that much closer to graduating and Brad leaving for Norway.
So instead I shall post about my new years eve hijinx. I hung out with David and Ryan. We went to get fireworks around 8:30. After that we headed to Walgreens for latex gloves and then to Brookshires for foodstuffs and beer for the boys. I had gotten some plum wine on the way to their house so I was good. As the boys were wrapping sparklers for a sparkler bomb, I drank some of the plum wine and after trying to drink half the bottle I decided that I couldn't do it. I had already felt kinda bad when I got there so I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to drink alot or not. David ended up guzzling the rest of the bottle later on. We watched Omega Man as the boys were wrapping the sparklers. Close to the end of the movie we went outside, and I lit the sparkler bomb. It was a pretty impressive fire puff. After that the boys messed with some more fireworks while I stayed inside and watched....it was cold out there with the wind blowing. After that we watched Stardust. I think shortly after that Ryan started getting tired. David put on Racoon Wars while Ryan was falling asleep on the couch. Around 2:30 or so I think Ryan finally went to bed. I stayed for another 30 minutes until I saw David in the chair asleep. I woke him up, told him to go to bed, and left to come home. As soon as I got home I took four ibuprofen and went to bed. Anyway, it wasn't extremely exciting, but it was fun. And for once in a long time I wasn't sad at midnight.
