Originally uploaded by CatGoddess. Ok, I have to say that I didn't really see the first two bands, Dropping Daylight and Evans Blue. During Dropping Daylight I was eating. I hadn't eaten anything before going to Hal and Mal's so I decided I'd eat something at the restaurant there. I had some yummy fried mushrooms and key lime pie for desert. It was tasty. After that I headed into the main room where they were gonna have the bands playing. Evans Blue was setting up. I stood there for a while until my feet started to hurt. I went into the front room and sat down 'cause I knew I'd be standing up for a while for Breaking Benjamin. Guess who I ran into going to find a chair....Matt. It was really odd. I had seen him earlier, but didn't really want to talk to him 'cause he was a real ass last time I saw him. He came up to me and hugged me. He couldn't believe I was there. He asked me if Lester was there. I told him no that I hadn't talked to Lester in a few months. He asked me who was with me then. I told him I was by myself. He said "That's no fun." I said that if I waited for someone to go with me everywhere I'd be waiting forever. Anyway, I sat on one of the couches with him and a girl he was with....I can't remember her name. He was very happylike......very unassholeish. I guess he was doing something right. He kept saying he couldn't believe he ran into me. I thought it was funny. Not long after I sat down, the girl that was with him got sick. He said she had three Jaigermeister (sp?) shots. No wonder she was sick. She wasn't very big to begin with....but giving someone Jaiger (sp?) shots in a very hot club.....that's just asking for trouble. I guess they left 'cause I didn't see them after he came back in for the second time to get his cigarettes. Around 10:00 I headed into the room where the bands were playing. The crew was still setting up the equipment but I was determined that I was gonna stay. I think Breaking Benjamin finally got on the stage at around 10:30 or so. They put on an awesome show as per usual. It was so hot in there though that everyone was soaked from sweat.....including me. After a while, I started getting a little faint so I didn't get to see the last few songs they did. I figured I needed to get some water and sit down before I passed out. I only remember sweating so much on two other occasions....both of which were concerts that Breaking Benjamin were a part of. I'm a die hard fan what can I say :)
