Say What?
I have the local news on but was only paying little attention to it. Just now I looked up and they were interviewing some local person about some serious thing that had happened nearby. The caption on the bottom of the screen identified the person as:

LIVES NEAR AX SCENE
Huh? Wow, an AX. I hadn't remembered hearing anything before about an ax and wondered if someone went berserk with an ax or what had happened, but it sounded serious for sure. When I paid attention to the story they were covering, I found it was about a motorcycle accident that happened last night on a winding, twisty, woodsy road. Ohhhhh, ACCIDENT. Either someone misheard *that* one or they need to fix their spell checker.
