The Case of the Chickenkilling Dog

Dec 31, 2009 19:38

Indeed, this is based on an actual happening.

You own a decent sized farm on which you make your living raising chickens, goats, crops, and a few cows. For roughly a month now, your neighbor's dog has been sneaking into your pens and killing your chickens and the death count has risen to a little over 20. You've told your neighbors on several occasions about their dog's behavior and they continue to do nothing. Animal control has also done nothing. Now, in this state there is law stating that domestic animals endangering livestock can be shot, but you aren't entirely sure if you want to go that route. What do you do?
