Yup - Same Shit, Different Day.
For some reason, I felt an obligation to update this. Don't even know why.
Anyway, nothing new and exciting going on.
Oh, wait - yeah there is. M - who is only 3 - knows how to write his name! The more astonishing thing is, no one knows where he learned how. We didn't teach him at home, and they swear they didn't teach him at school (apparently that starts next year). Obviously he knows his letters and our best guess is that he's seen them enough to know how to write them. He has these big letters spelling out his name on a shelf in his room. The other day he looked at them and wrote them on a piece of paper. Amazing. And, he can do it without looking, too. He showed his teachers at school and they were amazed - they don't believe any of the other kids are even close to doing that yet.
So, I guess he's a bright kid. Let's review then, shall we? I have a really bright kid who is also really small for his age (he was born 11 weeks early and hasn't caught up yet). Wonderful - at least he doesn't wear glasses (yet!). Thank goodness he's really cute, or he'd be in for a TON of beatings later in life (grammar school and so forth). Ah well...I suppose he'll have his younger - and bigger - brother to protect him. :-)
