Had to go to the Emergency Room yesterday. It felt like I dislocated my knee. This knee has done this type of thing before, but I always got it to go back in. Apparently, they think I tore my miniscus. So, it's not dislocated, but I might have to have surgery on it this coming Tuesday. I just went in for an MRI a little while ago and depending on what that shows will determine if I need surgery and what's actually wrong with it. When it happened my leg ended up being bent and I couldn't straighten it...It hurt like Hell!!!! I couldn't straighten it to walk or anything...I had to drag myself to my phone and call mike. He came home from work a 1/2 hour early and brought me to the ER. He's had to carry me pretty much everywhere b/c I can't walk on it. I got crutches today, but it hurts to use them b/c any movement or anything to my knee and it hurts. They gave me a prescription for vicodin after I went to the ER, but when I went to see an orthropedic surgeon today he upped it to percocet. And, guess what? Even with that it still hurts! K, well I'm going to go check my e-mail and then venture back to bed (and yes I mean venture...it actually takes effort to get anywhere).
