GOOD
* i love plaza diner. i love money and i love the people i work with and i love being a diner waitress.
I LOVE MY JOB.
BAD
* i hate having to share an apartment with someone who thinks i cleaned his moldy fridge as a favor to him. fuck you, you should have cleaned it before i moved in and i cleaned it because it reeked and I, ME, I am the only one who actually spends time in that apartment. i do absolutely NOTHING for him. NOTHING.
* i dislike hanging around people who don't actually care what you're doing with books all over the coffee table, they'd rather make fun of you playfully for being a dweeb than ask, 'so what are you working on here, cate? how's your fucking summer going?'
* i especially hate that when i'm around such people, when they come over and just sit around being "funny" for an hour before leaving again, all i can do is play along. i laugh, i protest a little, i actually say "you're welcome" when i point out to Doug the fact that i've cleaned the fridge and he says "hey, thanks! awesome!"
god forbid i actually say what i want to say to people.
i was a real moron when i was a freshman/summer soph-y. i have little flashes - not just in my head, but when actual people are in my actual apartment - flashes of how miserable i would be if i had gotten what i wanted last summer.
