library
this is the first time i have ever gone to a library at school, other than being forced to do so. it's kind of odd, but i like it in here. it's very quiet, which actually gives me the chance to read and study without being distracted. and i like the smell of old books. the ambience is fantastic. plus, this library is brand new and really beautiful with lots of little study spaces and nooks and crannies for me to hide away and do research. this is where the real bookworm in me comes out.
i have so much research to do for my many upcoming projects, but i'm not too worried. as long as i keep myself on task and have a timeline, i'll get everything done. however, let me just reiterate how much i hate group projects in college. i understand why they are assigned, but come on, i can work well with other people. i work in retail! people don't have time for, nor do they care about, group projects. and if some kid doesn't care about his work, then that just pisses me off, because i end up suffering for it. it's pretty difficult for professors to weed out the people who do none of the work. and because i hate getting bad grades, i'll end up being the pushover that does the work!

wedding plans are going great! we OFFICIALLY set a date: october 3, 2009 in maui. here's a link to pictures of the place we are having the wedding and probably the reception, but the reception isn't hammered out yet.

I am still trying to find someone to work on my invitations and save the dates, so if anybody knows anyone who would be into that - someone into graphic design or what not - please let me know! i've found a couple that i like so far that i've customized. i put the pictures below :)
so anyway, that's how i've been keeping busy lately. i'm really excited for halloween tomorrow too though. mikey is gonna be a skeleton and i'm gonna do the makeup! i'm actually not dressing up this year for the first time EVER :( i just don't have enough moolah to dress up....oh well. i'm still excited!
