Subject: xeo3...

...(which is persia white's project with roy gnan) is putting out an official release this summer. no date as of yet- but for anyone interested you should check myspace.com/xeo3 for details. i've heard a couple of songs and it sounds killer.
some small world stuff happening as well...
russell ali (xeo3 guitarist) is currently in a band with alex carapetis, who replaced me for a while after my departure from nails. not sure of the name, but they are currently playing around hollywood. i met alex for the first time this weekend (completely by chance) at a production rehearsal facility in burbank. we had a very.....uhhh.......interesting conversation. we laughed our asses off about everything in the past and were able to see the situation from each other's perspective- free from all the drama that was surrounding it at the time. he said his hands have never been the same after trying to learn and practice all of the songs for hours everyday....and then playing shows at night. i can't even imagine the pressure he must have been under to get it together, especially in those first few weeks. probably one of the toughest gigs (if not the toughest gig) in the world for a drummer......no bullshit. just ask josh f.
persia, josh and i have been working in several studios lately and most of the vocal ideas and performances have been done at persia's home studio. not sure yet if we will work elsewhere on final overdubs or just continue tracking at josh's and my home studio. it's been tough to align everyone's schedules- but we're making progress. hopefully, we'll be able to adhere to the timeline for this thing. i want it done and out. stay tuned...

The "i met alex for the first time this weekend " blew me out. I mean, yeah, he replaced him, but didn't they actually and officially been introduced to one another back in the days? Weird... :) Anyways, I find it pretty funny the way Jerome talks about it and all ;).

In other Jerome "news" (I'm considering it news because it's something that I recently discovered, lol), here's a picture:
TEH SEXINESS!!!
This is Jerome with Persia White (actress and singer - recently played in Girlfriends as an actor, and now she's recording for the xeo3 project). Although she looks very, very illegal, lol, she has 35 years old :). The picture is from the Comic Relief 2006 awards (or what they do at Comic Relief, lol) - 2006.11.18.
