Procrastinating Pollyanna pillages her ...

... ? (any ideas for a word meaning memory beginning with 'p'? Aphasia strikes again.)

I really am not much good at this, am I?
Mind you, Orange has been playing silly games and I can't seem to get online in the evenings at the moment, so that has prevented me posting at times I have felt like it.

So, how far back this time?
Over a week ...oooh!
Serious thought required.
Hmm... let's see ...

last Friday
Isn't it fun being impulsive sometimes?

Saturday
I could have been stuck in a meeting today, but would have found it very difficult.
Our Administrator suggested that given the agenda and high attendance levels I could always skip it for the first time ever.
It's so nice to be given permission for what one wants to do anyway.

Sunday
I'm not sure there's anything nicer than being hugged when you're feeling grotty.

Monday
An unexpected but welcome show of solidarity from a new friend cheered my morning.

Tuesday
I have caught up on posting out the Rings & Rays that have been hanging around for a while.
The JEs may be a little brief and uninformative, but I don't feel like a bad Bookcrosser any more.

Wednesday
I didn't know there was such a useful shop in such a convenient place - sometimes advertising does work.

Thursday
Volunteered to go in for a couple of hours this morning to arrange the cover.
Not an easy day & had I stayed to teach 'my' class a couple of people would have been happier.
For once, I remembered to put me first: I wasn't meant to be there at all, I'd said I'd come in to do a specific task, and I was not going to succumb to emotional blackmail to stay and do something else.

Friday (today, so far)
Took my purse to the staff room to buy cakes on sale for Comic Relief.
Left it there.
But Mary's phoned to tell me so & is going to leave it somewhere safe I can collect it from on my way to meet colleagues for coffee later.
Honest and helpful people abound.

apologies, pollyanna
