I called Comcast just now, to turn off basic cable. (I was offered it a few months ago as part of a special offer, but I haven't watched it since getting it working.)

Callers are greeted by Shaquille O'Neal and Ben Stein, for no discernable reason.

When I selected the phone tree option for downgrading service, a recorded message told me that the office was closed. Business hours were 7am-7pm Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm Sat.

When I selected the phone tree option for new service, upgrades or transfers, I was informed that they were experiencing higher than normal call volumes and placed in a queue.
