TRB
The latest news from here is that I won't be going on The Rock Boat at the end of Sept as they have cancelled it. Carnival is loaning 3 ships, including the one we were supposed to sail on to the relief efforts down in New Orleans. While I am sad that Steph and I won't get to go on TRB, part of me is relieved because I've kind of dug myself into a financial hole which is not something I am happy about. The new car took a big chunk out of my savings and paying for Adam's repairs after the accident left quite the dent as well. Most recently I agreed to loan some money to Adam which I may not get back for a couple months. I was antincipating getting it sooner but I'm not upset about it rather it forces me to reevaluate where my money is going. Thankfully Thursday was a payday but I have been out of work most of the week sick. Part of me is hoping that I will be able to pick up some overtime hours but my brain is saying "Don't do it! Don't fry yourself." Oh, well.
