Well, I have finally gotten tired of seeing notes saying that I have never updated my journal. It's the truth, but since I have had this LJ account for almost 5 months, it is way past due that I actually posted something.

One of these days I will work on adding some fic recs to my LJ. I only have something like a gazillion stories saved on my computer, so it shouldn't be that hard!

I know how that is! My problem is that a lot of them are from a couple of years ago, before I really got "into" fandom, and so I didn't think to save the name of the author, or the link where it's hosted. Stupid, I know.
Looking forward to the McShep recs!

I friended you after seeing that you are going to be the second speaker in the new shared_wisdom comm which I am interested in -- partly because I really like jans_intentions Queer as Folk fic -- although I am not a writer at all, just a reader.
Currently The Sentinel and Stargate Atlantis are my two favorite fandoms, although I read stories in a lot of different ones. TS is the only fandom I have ever followed which I started reading before I had even watched an episode of the show. I still have only watched the 1st season episodes [DVDs from Netflix] although I recently bought my own copy on eBay, and so will be rewatching them soon. I discovered TS through Candy Apple's wonderful Starsky & Hutch crossover Outside Influences. I have been a S&H fan for a long time -- it was my second big fandom after TOS Star Trek. [And I still have lots of old print zines out in my garage to prove it!]

I have enjoyed reading your stories for quite awhile. I think my favorites are Rag and Bone and Point of Contact in TS fandom, although I've also read some of your SGA, SG1, and NCIS stories. Thanks for helping to entertain me!
