Wandering
I am in the midst of a "lots of good new music" wave right now and I'm going to ride the sucker as far as it'll take me. The weather's been beautiful so I've been doing lots of night walking. The only problem is now I'm wide awake (11:37PM), when really I need to be sleeping, and tomorrow morning (6:00AM), I will be sleeping when I should be wide awake.
It's worth it, though... so much of the day is spent working on things for other people that it's nice to have some time to myself to march myself around the block and space out with some tunes. I'll just drink some extra pop in the morning :0P
About half the trees here are in bloom and the air smells sweet and warm. A few more weeks and things will really take off. Can't wait to see it.
Oh! We have a mated pair of ospreys living in the marsh behind the house! I saw them this morning and just stood and stared. They're beautiful and enormous. I told Kitten I'd be pissed if he went off and got himself eaten. Between the coyotes and the ospreys, he'd better stay light on his feet.
