Skulls and Crossbones Cover
Oh boy. So LJ just ate my post. Weeee!
The Skulls and Crossbones cover has been released! The editors will be emailing us shortly with the ETA on the publication date. I'm still kind of amazed by this whole happening. The thought that people will be reading my story in a short couple of weeks is pretty insane. I can't wait to get a copy and read all of the other stories. And maybe I will even get some visitors to this journal! How weird... I've been writing to myself mostly for the last couple of months. Anyway.
I have today off because I went with my BFF Sparky to the airport to send her back to medical school. She gave me a going away present - what a gal, she's leaving and I get a present! Lucky me! Sparks, you shall be greatly missed for the next few months, and thank you for "Boy." Yep, that's right, I'm jamming out to U2's "Boy" on vinyl right now. Honestly, U2 could have never made another record and I would have loved them just as much. This album is flipping insane.
What else...
My band has a show this weekend on Saturday. I'm pretty pumped. We have some great new covers for everyone and it should be a really good time. The set up / break down part is always kind of annoying, but actually playing once everything is ready is a lot of fun. I will post some pics after the show. Speaking of pics, yep, I'm behind at least two sets. Maybe this afternoon, but no promises.
I might attempt to write something. Kitten is insistently kneading at my arm, so I'll have to come to some sort of understanding with him about that before I can proceed. Hmm.
