So I wish, whether you're religious or a fellow atheist, that you have a great day being nice to other people and enjoying having them be nice to you. Eat stone-fruit, ham, prawns and pickled onions if you're in the Southern Hemisphere, and I dunno, some kind of roast and pudding if you are in the cold North. Hug lots of people. Try not to fight with your older relatives. Make brrm-brmm noises with your gifts while driving them around on the carpet, even if they're a pen set. Remember why you miss the family dog. Be appalled at your younger neices and nephews and increasingly respectful of your grandparents. Laugh joyously. Wear the tinsel.
