What i did on my spring break
Spring Break was amazing. I got to do everything somehow, and that majorly rocks. Fencing over the frist weekend was incredable. I still can't beleive that actually happened. Honestly Club Champ was a goal i wasn't letting myself have because i thought it was so outrageous. guess i was wrong there. Plus how awesome do actually do good while my family was watching. geez, that was nice. And our squad. O baby. we had ND on the run! that was the most fun i've ever had in a squad bout. 5-3 with ND womens epee rocks so hard. bummer about not getting top club team, shay really wanted that, and we were good enuf. frickin Lawrence. Plus we killed, flattened, absolutely anihilated U of M, which is always nice.
Two days at home just chilling with the fam and catching up on sleep and lost time.
Road trip to NYC. wow. that was SOO fun. My uncles place was awesome, they cooked us steak for dinner the first nite we got in. The next day my aunt took us to canal street, thats in China town where all the street vendors are and stuff. She really knows her way around. we'd be following this chinese guy, thru a black alley, into a beauty store, but that just a cover, thru a locked door, down a dark hallway(ok are we going to be killed here?) thru another locked door and suddenly...Ur in a brighly lit room for of knock off designer purses! It was really fun, i got a fake purse and a bootlegged copy of Borat. Then we had lunch in little Italy, that is good food. Then Rudolf came! He was our tour guide for the rest of the afternoon. it was soo much fun! he was a great tourguide, and just like in all things hockey the fact that we had only met him once before and knew basically nothing about him didnt matter at all. we talked and laughed the who afternoon and it was never awkward, he as so many fun stories to tell about the city and he knows where everything is. i know alot more about him now too. the bummer was they were playing hockey in NYC that night, but we couldn't go because it was during Les Mis. OMG Les Mis is the best musical ever, anyone who says different is just plain wrong. it's awesome. and we got to meet the cast afterward they come right out onto the street, so mals life is pretty much a sucess and she can die happy now. then we tookt the train back to my uncles place, hung out w. my cousins for a bit and left the next morning. we had 13 hours in the city and it was actally pretty darn awesome.
now i am back at MSU, and i get to watch Sarah play bball cuz she has her AAU tourny up here this weekend. next week is gonna suck tho, i have pprs to write and lots of them, then Guelf.
