It’s now down to about a month before me and Hiroshi’s Japan trip and its safe to say I have everything I need. Well, it’s not so hard to pack for a ten-day trip especially when I’ll only be bringing a backpack. This is definitely going to be my most light-weight oversea travel ever. I’m not too worried about how I’ll look or what I’ll wear since we will constantly be on the go. For the most part we will be staying in hotels for one night so having a big luggage around would be inconvenient. And since the weather will be a bit cold, I don’t have to worry about stinking up my shirt from sweat. If I need clothes, I’ll just buy it there :)
Ten days exploring south central Japan with my bestfriend/boyfriend will sure be interesting. Sure I’ve visited my ex in England and Paris when we were together which to this day I still can’t believe I’ve been there, but I sure feel a whole lot more comfortable with Hiroshi. We’ve been together at work, in dates, at home, on camping, in road trips, and practically anywhere except overseas. So yeah, this will be our first time and unlike my last visit with my ex, I doubt I’ll be carrying that much stress.
Anyhow, here are the things I will be bringing.
Clothes:
- 1 sweater (I’ll be wearing)
- 2 pants (one I’ll be wearing)
- 3 shirts (one I’ll be wearing)
- 2 long sleeves undershirt
- 3 pair of socks (one I’ll be wearing)
- 7 underwear (I’ll be washing some)
- 2 sports bra (I’ll be wearing one)
- Gloves
Toiletries:
- 2 mouth wash
- 1 pack of cleansing towels
- 1 travel soap
- Floss
- Deodorant
- Pads
- Q-tips
- Hand Sanitizer
Other Necessities:
- Small towel
- Ibuprofen
- Allergy pills
- Anti friction bar
- Travel size first aid kit
- Naked palette (eyebrow makeup)
- Bare minerals (coverup)
- Phone charger
- Mints
Relief to say they all fit perfectly well inside my backpack. If anything, I even have a bit of space. My cellphone, passport, and money will go on my little purse which will be nicely tucked inside my sweater. Hotels provide toothbrushes and night gowns which is pretty convenient so I don’t have to worry about those. The good thing with Hiroshi is that he’s picky with hotels.
But there are still some things needs to get done before the trip. First and most important, we need to get the rail pass. Once that's done, I'll finally get a decent haircut which I haven't done so since March. Follow by that will be a lash perm and threading to ease my vanity. The beauty stuff will get done towards the end of this month.
So yeah, after 10 months of waiting (yes, I bought our plane tickets in February) it's now just a month away. Hopefully time will slow down when we're there just like how it did when I was in Philippines.
