(no subject)
The first marking period is now over and i brought basically all of my grades up. Today we had an assembly about the flag and all of this other bullshit...an hour and a half of bullshit to be exact.
Then we got a speech about what had happened in our school on monday and tuesday.
On monday some kid made like a little smoke bomb in a bottle and set it off in the hall. (He got 2nd, 3rd, and 4th degree charges put against him) and then on tuesday another kid wrote a bomb threat on one of the walls in the boys bathroom and they found two smoke bombs in his locker (he has two 3rd degree charges put against him). On both days we got out of school early. It sucks though because now we have to make those days up and graduation was pushed back. It was nice to get out early though.
On tuesday me, tessie, and my friend tommy left school at like 10am after the bomb threat and went to the mall for a few hours. Then after that we went to the park where my grandfather (from the dads side) is buried. I havent been there since i was 8 years old when he died and i still remembered where he was buried. It is amazing how well i remember things like that. There are deer there that are so used to humans too that they just walked up to us and i took pictures of it. It was awesome. It is such a pretty and relaxing place. Me and tommy are going again tomorrow morning and taking pictures. Then after going to the park we all went to the movies and saw Jarhead. It was pretty good but it wasnt what everyone expected. There is no death in it at all basically. It is just what goes on in the soldiers life while they are training and stuff, but not actually fighting. I liked it a lot but all of the guys in the theater wanted to see fighting and death but they didnt get that.
Tomorrow night i am going to a concert with dana, jeff, and tessie. I got the tickets for my birthday from dana and jeff and then i decided to bring tessie because she likes the main band and she has never been to a real concert before. The main band is H.I.M. and then there are a few other groups that i have never heard before, also CKY might be showing up. Bam Margera is the mc there. We should have a great time.
My birthday was on the 13th and it was nice. I just had a family dinner and hungout with my friends. I am now 18 YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!! I dont really care that much that i am 18 but everyone else thinks it is some huge thing.
