So I am one lazy SOB because I haven't updated since I've been home. This always happens to me. Anyhoo, here's what I've been up to in a nutshell:
-Catching up with the ladies before they went back- went for a good walk down by the lake, hung out with Helen a lot, visited Annalise's palacial room and snuck on her HWS tour, awesome dinner at Kathy's, name that tune and watching Journey videos. Good times.
-Knitting like a fiend. I made a pink and blue halter top, and a little purse to take to parties. Tomorrow I'll probably go the yarn shop again and get some yarn for a cropped sweater.
-Going to Cornell. Pretty awesome: knowledge bombs were dropped, the art museum was visited, and Mark piggybacked me halfway up hill before we were rescued by Luke in his car. Damn Cornell kids who think they know their way around campus. and don't. *shakes fist* Saw all the friends, and most of their rooms.
-Catching up with the guys. Aka Henry and Mark, the only ones left. We went to Garcia's, always cheap, speedy, and delicious. Amusing, as you would expect.
-Dinner with the McKinneys. Dinner with the Glovers.
-Dropping Dianne back off at school and visiting my cousin. Damn, I wanted to stay at Smith and not go back home... Big ups to all my homies in the Hub.
-Walked downtown many times. Went to the dentist, always thrilling.
-Cursed the brook st. construction. Frickin A, man.
-Amanda and I have been planning our peer writing tutorage...we're going to be hilariously overprepared.
Because the day I'm supposed to go back to school (next Sat.) is Mom's b-day, we're going to drive up friday evening and the rents are going to spend the night in a b & b and move me in the next day, so they don't have to go there and back in one day. I am so happy happy about this, because I'll get to party with many of my homies on friday night. I'll basically have to crash with someone who's already there for MOO or Res life, like Ali, because there's literally no room for me in the inn. It's gonna be frickin sweet. Nothin like gettin crunk and crashing the freshmen parties...bahaha. Or something like that. I suppose I could be a bit classier....nah.
Everyone should see An Inconvenient Truth. Very good, though scary. It made me proud of my school and Sunday Night Group.
