1. I talked directly with Dr. O'Grady via the telephone yesterday, and have decided to go ahead with the surgery as scheduled. He reassured me that I would be observed for a number of hours prior to my release and that if there was any sign of complications, they would keep me overnight. I also consulted a few ladies online who have had breast reductions done, and they didn't seem to think I had anything to worry about. So I feel better about it now.
2. I'm frustrated and annoyed at work, because I feel like I'm just being blatantly used until the newest lady they hired gets used enough to all the procedures to be their new "golden employee". After that, they'll consider me completely expendable and I'll either be cut loose (like Farah) or cowardishly pushed as far aside as possible (like Lisa, who regularly gets 3 hours a week). It's incredibly frustrating, because I can't do anything about it, since it doesn't make sense to get a new job until after my surgery. I just wanna tell Benix to take a flying leap, but I still need them and that sucks.
3. I don't work with Quetti for at least the next two weeks, so I left a note on the schedule requesting some vacation time to visit my family in the U.S., probably at the end of April, and asking her to get in touch with me to let me know if that works for her. She'll probably never call me, and I'll have to walk up to the mall one day just to discuss it with her. But we'll see what happens.
4. Isabella is cute.
