Things that are total crap
I got to work today and they had apparently changed the schedule and not bothered to let me know. So after working (for free) for a half hour while waiting to find out what to do, I had to come back home and I have to go back tonight for three stupid hours from 6:30 to 9:30. Not to mention the reason I`m working at night all of a sudden is because Marina and Farah get along so poorly they apparently almost became violent with one another one night this week. And apparently the solution to that is not to fire one or both of them, but to just never have them work together. On top of all that, my hours are practically non-existent since Christmas. I`m getting a maximum of 15 hours a week, which is just... pathetic. This week I was originally scheduled for 6 hours--six hours--and got it bumped up to 11 hours today as my `consolation prize` for having come in uselessly this morning. It doesn`t seem like it`s going to get any better, so even though it kills me because I seriously love this job, I`m updating my resume so I can apply elsewhere. First on my list is probably Kitchen Stuff Plus, now that I have experience in house wares.

Also, I think there`s something wrong with my keyboard. Some of the keys aren`t working like they should. I`ll have to have Christopher take a look at it.

Things that are awesome
I finally got my appointment with Dr. O`Grady set up. I`m scheduled to see him next Thursday at 3:30pm. I`m so excited and nervous! I presume at this appointment we`ll go over what the procedure will be like and any questions Christopher and I have, and then we`ll schedule the actual surgery. I have no idea what the wait time for that will be like, but I guess I need to inform Quetti as soon as possible that I`ll be needing to take time off for it, in case I`m still working at Benix when it happens. I keep joking in my head that maybe I`ll get to be Gramma`s roommate at the hospital for a night. LOL I`m guessing we wouldn`t be on the same floor. Maybe we can put me in a wheelchair and take the elevator to visit her, though.

surgery, emocrap, work
