"I'm not your love monkey" lol

I went through our pantry, freezer and fridge tonight and wrote down all the food we have, so I could plan meals around those things. I figure knowing exactly what we have will help us to minimize grocery costs, and planning out meals ahead of time will increase the likeliness that we'll eat healthy every night. I think I've got about 12 days planned out so far, so I'm excited about it.

I really, really need a haircut. I realized tonight that I look like a cocker spaniel. I have thin, straight hair close to my head, but it becomes thick and poofy further down. I'm looking for pictures of hairstyles to choose from, so I can get it cut. I'd prefer to keep it medium-long, as I'm still trying to grow it out, and I'd like to get a layered cut. But the strange thin-to-thick texture of my hair makes it difficult for me to really gauge how any particular cut would look on me. Furthermore, nearly every haircut I find that I like seems to be meant for either thin hair, curly hair, or someone with longer bangs than I currently have. And I'd really like a low-maintenance 'do, because asking me to spend an hour styling my hair every morning is asking way too much of someone as lazy as me. You're lucky if I'm willing to squeeze on some hydrating creme between towel-drying and brushing it. I don't even own a curling iron.

Can someone please teach me how to be pretty and feminine?
